1. Who we are and which apps are covered

This Privacy Policy describes how Al-Madina Al-Baitha (“we,” “our,” or “us”), as the operator of the Pearl Towers services, collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information in connection with the following applications (collectively, the “Apps”):

• Pearl Towers Resident App — residential community services, requests, offers, discounts, and taxi requests, where available.
• Pearl Towers Business App — authorized business accounts, promotional offers, discounts, and QR-based redemption or verification features, where available.
• Pearl Towers Taxi Driver App — authorized driver accounts, vehicle identification, and taxi request management.

This policy also covers the supporting administrative systems and servers used to operate these services. Not every data category or feature applies to every user or App.

2. Information we may collect

Resident App

Depending on the features enabled, information may include your name, contact details, account identifiers, apartment or building association, service requests and communications, taxi pickup point and optional destination, offer or discount activity, and related dates and status records.

Business App

Information may include business name, authorized representative or staff account details, contact information, business profile, offers and promotions, QR-code redemption or verification records, and activity history needed for administration.

Taxi Driver App

Information may include driver name, photograph, contact details where supplied, account and availability status, vehicle make/model/type, color and plate number, taxi requests, pickup points, optional destinations, assignment details, status updates, and trip history.

Technical information

Across the Apps, we may process device and operating-system information, app version, authentication records, server logs, push-notification tokens, and diagnostic or security information necessary for service operation. If a feature requests camera, photo-library, or notification access, the applicable device permission controls its use.

Information may come from users, authorized administrators, participating businesses, or activity within the Apps.

3. How we use information

• Create, authenticate, manage, and secure authorized accounts.
• Provide resident services, process requests, and communicate service updates.
• Publish and administer participating business offers and verify eligible discount or QR-code activity.
• Distribute taxi requests to available drivers, coordinate pickup, and update request status.
• Show relevant driver and vehicle information to residents who request a taxi.
• Send operational notifications, including account, service, offer, or request updates where enabled.
• Maintain appropriate transaction, redemption, request, and operational histories; resolve disputes and provide support.
• Prevent abuse, diagnose problems, improve reliability, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use personal information for unrelated purposes without an appropriate basis or notice where required by law.

4. When information may be shared

Information may be accessible to Pearl Towers management and authorized administrators; the relevant resident, participating business, or assigned driver when needed for a requested service; and technology providers that support hosting, notifications, maintenance, security, or diagnostics. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

For example, a resident requesting a taxi may receive the assigned driver's name, photograph, vehicle information, and request status. A participating business may receive only the details needed to verify a discount or redemption. We do not sell personal information to data brokers or third-party advertisers.

5. Permissions, location, QR codes, and payments

Location

Taxi requests use a designated building entrance or predefined pickup point, with an optional destination. The Taxi Driver App is designed for request-status coordination rather than continuous GPS tracking. We do not describe the Apps as collecting precise or background GPS location unless that feature is actually enabled and disclosed through an updated notice and applicable permissions.

Camera and photos

Where enabled, camera or photo access may be used for profile photographs, business content, or scanning discount QR codes. Access is requested only when relevant to the feature.

Push notifications

The Apps may use push-notification services, including OneSignal where configured, to deliver service, taxi, account, and offer notifications. Notification tokens and related technical data may be handled by the notification provider under its own privacy terms. Users can adjust notification permissions in their device settings.

Payments

The Taxi Driver App does not process card payments or collect passenger payment credentials. Taxi fares or payment arrangements, if any, are handled outside the App. Any separate payment functionality introduced in another App will require accurate disclosure of its payment provider and data practices.

6. Data storage and retention

We retain account information while needed to operate the relevant service and keep request, redemption, and operational records for appropriate business, security, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes. Retention periods depend on the type of information and applicable requirements. When information is no longer necessary, we aim to delete or de-identify it where reasonably practicable.

Deactivating an account does not automatically remove historical records that must reasonably be retained. Data may be processed on servers or by service providers in jurisdictions other than your own, subject to applicable requirements and appropriate safeguards.

7. Information security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including account-based access restrictions and measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No digital service is completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

8. Your choices, access, and deletion requests

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to information about you, correction of inaccurate details, deactivation of your account, or deletion of eligible personal information. To submit a request, email contact@madinaalbaitha.com and identify the relevant Pearl Towers App. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the account administrator before completing a request.

Some records may be retained for legal, security, accounting, or legitimate operational reasons. You may also manage app permissions and notifications through your device settings.

9. Children's privacy

The Business and Taxi Driver Apps are intended for authorized adult users. The Resident App is intended for residents and other authorized users and is not designed to solicit personal information directly from children. If you believe personal information about a child has been collected improperly, please contact us for review.

10. Third-party services and links

The Apps may rely on hosting providers, push-notification services, and other technical integrations. These providers may process information as necessary to deliver their services. External websites or services accessed through the Apps may have separate privacy policies. We encourage users to review those policies when relevant.

11. Updates to this policy

We may revise this policy as our services, integrations, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy at this URL, update the date above, and provide additional notice when required.
